9:30: A look across the networks as the address is delivered:

9:55: Lots of tweets on the president’s remarks and the reaction in the chamber from @chucktodd, @jaketapper, @MajoratWH and others at our White House correspondents Twitter list.

10:16: President Obama says “too many of our citizens have lost faith” in the media:

The more that TV pundits reduce serious debates into silly arguments, and big issues into sound bites, our citizens turn away. No wonder there’s so much cynicism out there. No wonder there’s so much disappointment.

10:26: The President wraps up and networks squeeze in some quick analysis (as well as a commercial break for some) before Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell delivers the Republican response.

10:44: Four broadcast networks have returned to scheduled programming immediately following the response. Couric will continue at CBSNews.com. Analysis/discussion will continue for a while on the cable news networks.

11:00: Here is the full text of the address. (Response.) We’ll have more and ratings info on how many viewers tuned in to the address, the response, and the analysis starting tomorrow.
