“CBS This Morning” co-host Norah O’Donnell was at LaGuardia Airport in NYC trying to catch a flight when a different Delta flight skidded off the snowy runway. The reporter in her started working immediately, tweeting updates while reporting for CBSN and WCBS.
It all started with this Tweet, but the “collision” was actually Delta Flight 1086 from Atlanta sliding off the runway and crashing into a seawall.
Stuck on the runway at LGA. Pilot says collision on another runway has shut down airport.

The plane reportedly was only a few feet from ending up in the bay, but luckily everyone on board is “safe.”
