Remember when MSNBC host Joe Scarborough was approached by Republican party leaders and encouraged to run against Katherine Harris for U.S. Senate last summer? He decided not to run, citing personal and professional commitments.
But now we know a little more about what was happening behind the scenes.
Before Scarborough could announce he wouldn’t run, “Harris called major donors and suggested Scarborough would have to answer questions about the strange death of a former staff member in 2001,” the Miami Herald reports.
