This year’s benefit drew around 300 attendees, many of whom on-air talent hailing from the world of TV news. Most importantly, the star-studded event raised tens of thousands of dollars for NLGJA’s programs, including those that provide scholarships to aspiring LGBT journalists.  The benefit ended with a live performance from a 4th grader in the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Fun Home.
