For some time, “NBC Nightly News” had been airing each evening on CNBC Europe, but it appears that’s no longer the case. All NBC News tells us is that a “international distribution deal change” caused the newscast to disappear from CNBC. The European-based website Follow the Media writes that ‘Nightly’ frequently had issues airing video overseas of international events, which could indicate that the network had been relying less and less on NBC resources and turning more regularly to third parties for such footage.
