Tonight “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” moves to a new set, in a much larger studio — 3B. Studio 3B will also be home to NBC’s primetime newsmagazine “Rock Center” which debuts next Monday. When “Nightly” signed off last Friday — with Kate Snow in for Williams — the set in Studio 3C had been used exactly four years, since Oct. 22, 2007, when NBC News unveiled its renovated newsroom and studios at 30 Rock.

FishbowlNY reports WNBC gets a new set in the process. WNBC’s newscasts will move from their 7th floor newsroom set to Studio 3C later this year. “Nightly News” had used the studio since Nov. 8, 1999.
