A piece of advice for the production staffs of television news programs: Don’t forget to double-check your graphics! According to an article in the Detroit Free Press, NBC Nightly News accidentally mislabeled Michigan and Wisconsin on a map during last night’s broadcast.
The mistake occurred during a segment about snow storms that were pummeling the Great Lakes region.
Needless to say, folks on Twitter were not happy about this misstep:
