Subject: Happy Holidays

As we all scatter over the next couple of weeks, I wanted to take an opportunity to wish you all a happy holiday and share my excitement for a prosperous new year.

A big thanks to Brian for hosting the gathering at Channel 4 last night, the mini-burgers were excellent, and nothing says the holiday season like pigs-in-a-blanket! For those unable to attend we promise to make it up to you next time your in town.

While we’ll be entering the new year with some challenges, thanks to Alex’s leadership over the past couple of years, we’re in a very strong position. In terms of ratings, “Nightly” is on a roll – winning the last nine weeks, including last week which drew 10 million viewers – these are impressive numbers and a testament to the quality broadcast we’ve been producing.

I am proud to work with the best in the business — on air and behind the scenes – and appreciate all of your hard work, your professionalism and your friendship. I hope that each of you can take a breather over the holidays – it should be a very exciting new year.

Bob
