‘Nightline’ Gives ABC Best Late Night Viewership in 12 Years

DAN ABRAMS, JUJU CHANG, DAN HARRISABC’s “Nightline” won the 2014 November late night Sweep in viewers, and did it with its biggest audience since moving to a new timeslot almost two years ago.

NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” won the two younger demos.

This is “Nightline’s” 3rd consecutive sweeps win in viewers, while growing from Nov. ’13: up +3% in viewers, and up +1% in the two younger demos. This is ABC’s largest overall sweep audience in the time slot in 12 years – since November 2002.

ABC’s ratings are based on a 25-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on approximately 50 minutes (prior to the final national commercial break of each program).
