‘Nightline’ First for Second Week in a Row

ABC’s “Nightline” was first again last week in Total Viewers and among both younger demos — A25-54 and A18-49.

With “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Show with David Letterman” in re-runs, and helped by news from the Gulf oil spill and game one of the NBA Finals on Thursday, “Nightline” ranked first for the week, averaging 3.79 million Total Viewers — up +18% over the same week last year.

(All three programs excluded Monday, Memorial Day, from the average.)
