ABC News’ “Nightline” was the No. 1 show last week and for the November sweep, among Total Viewers, the A18-49, and A25-54 demos. This is the first time “Nightline” has outperformed both “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Show with David Letterman” in the three measurements since 1993 when “Letterman” began on CBS.
It’s also the first time in 17 years that “Nightline” has been in first place at this point in the season.
ABC’s ratings are based on a 30-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on one hour.
