Tonight’s “Nightline” will be focused on the tragedy in Colorado. In the ratings department, last week was another good week for ABC News’s late night show.
“Nightline” won the week of July 9 across all three demographics: Total Viewers (3.55 million), A25-54 (1.32 million) and A18-49 (1.01 million). The ABC program has ranked as #1 in all three ratings measurements in 14 of the last 16 weeks and remains the #1 show in late night season-to-date.
Compared to the previous week, “Nightline” improved +3% in Total Viewers, +5% in A25-54 viewers and +4% in A18-49 viewers. Last Friday’s edition drew 3.8 million Total Viewers, making it late night’s most-watched broadcast of the week.
ABC’s ratings are based on a 25-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on approximately :50 minutes (prior to the final national commercial break of each program).
