NFL Looking Into Deadspin Report On Brett Favre

By Marcus Vanderberg

The NFL said on Friday it’s looking into a report published on Deadspin involving quarterback Brett Favre during his stint with the New York Jets.

The self-proclaimed “Woodward and Bernstein of athlete dong,” published a video on Thursday that included voice mails and nude photos allegedly from Favre to Jenn Sterger, co-host of The Daily Line on Versus and a former Jets employee.

According to Deadspin, the voice mails and pictures were acquired from a third party and Sterger, for obvious reasons, doesn’t want to discuss the topic.

“We are reviewing the matter,” said NFL league spokesman Greg Aiello.

Leave it to a New York Post reporter to bring up the Deadspin report to Favre during the end of his weekly press conference on Thursday.

“I’m not getting into that,” Favre said to Brian Costello, who was in town to cover the Minnesota Twins-New York Yankees series. “I’ve got my hands full with the Jets.”

Tiger Woods looks like Iceberg Slim compared to the lack of game Favre possesses on those alleged voicemails.

Since Brett is Brett, the mainstream media *cough, ESPN, cough* will conveniently look the other way when it comes to this story.
