News Pro Names ’12 To Watch in TV News’

TV Week’s News Pro magazine has assembled a list of “12 to Watch in TV News.” Unsurprisingly, incoming CNN president Jeff Zucker, who says “just because you’re not partisan doesn’t mean you can’t be exciting,” tops the list.

Notably, there are only two other cable personalities on the list: MSNBC’s weekend host Chris Hayes and Fox News’ Supreme Court reporter Shannon Bream, who has taken on an expanded role in the network’s political coverage this year.

Each of the network morning shows are represented — Robin Roberts for ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Savannah Guthrie for NBC’s “Today” and Norah O’Donnell for “CBS This Morning.” Chris Licht, the executive producer of “This Morning,” is also on the list.

Rounding out the 12 people are PBS’ “Frontline” executive producer Raney Aronson-Rath, NBCUniversal news group chairman Pat Fili-Krushnel, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, TheBlazeTV host Glenn Beck and ABC News weekend anchor David Muir.
