Media Matters, the site that monitors, analyzes, and corrects “conservative misinformation in the U.S. media” has bought local ad time on cable networks. We saw it on Fox News on Time Warner Cable just before 10am today.
The ad uses clips of broadcast and cable news anchors including Chris Matthews, Brit Hume, Bob Schieffer and Joe Scarborough while trying to point out the media’s favorable relationship with Sen. John McCain. The spot features a cartoon version of McCain doing a ‘they-love-me, they-love-me-not’ routine, but mostly saying “They love me.”
