Networks to Meet Monday on Response to Trump

The major cable and broadcast news networks will meet Monday to discuss a joint response to the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, which has clashed with reporters over access.

In an incident captured on video by a CNN journalist Friday, Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski threatened to pull the credentials of CNN’s Noah Gray in retaliation for leaving a campaign-designated “press pen” to cover a protest during a Trump rally.

According to the video, Lewandowski told another campaign staffer “Hey: Tell Noah, get back in the pen or he’s f—ing blacklisted.”

The Washington Post reports “senior managers from the five leading TV news networks” will meet to discuss their response to the incident, and to coordinate “demands about access to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.”
