Approximately 40,000 tickets will be made available for the 100-meter final of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, so organizers will have a difficult time meeting the demand of 1.82 million prospective spectators who have reportedly requested 20 million tickets to see if Usain Bolt can improve on his world record time of 9.69 seconds, set at the 2008 Games.
