NBC’s annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special, hosted by “Today” show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales hit a seven-year high last night in the A18-49 demo.

With 9.87 million viewers, the show came in second in the hour, and for the night, to CBS’s “Survivor” which had its most-watched show of the season.

With a 2.3 rating in A18-49, the tree lighting special was up +10% from last year and putting up its best numbers since 2006. The 2.3 rating is also NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period since a “Voice” Wednesday edition on May 8 drew a 2.8.
