NBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin and Supermodel Wife Welcome Baby Daughter

By Chris Ariens

MSNBC anchor and NBC News correspondent Ayman Mohyeldin and his wife French-born supermodel Kenza Fourati welcomed their first child into the world Sunday night.

Dora Fourati Mohyeldin arrived two weeks earlier than planned after her parents finished a weekend hiking trip in upstate New York.

The couple chose the name Dora because it works in the French, Arabic and English languages she’ll grow up with.

Mohyeldin was born in Egypt and moved to Georgia when he was 5. Appearing in the 2011 Swimsuit Edition, Fourati was the first Arab Muslim model to be featured in Sports Illustrated.
