NBC To Cover “Wounds of War”

Starting Monday: “NBC News’ Chief Health and Science correspondent Robert Bazell will report a special week-long series ‘Wounds of War,’ an examination of the medical care the wounded receive in Iraq on NBC Nightly News.” Coverage will also appear on Today, MSNBC and MSNBC.com.

More from the press release: “Earlier this month Bazell traveled to Iraq” and flew by helicopter “to get access to the entire chain of medical care from the Medivac helicopters that pick up the wounded on the battlefield, to the combat support hospitals, emergency rooms and surgical suites.
