NBC started running promos this weekend for NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. The spot was cut after Thursday’s announcement, but graphics featuring Holt’s name already existed because weekend editions of Nightly News held the same title.
The new promos feature Holt in the field, covering recent major stories. The Baltimore protests, Charlie Hebdo attack coverage and even the chopper he broadcasted from after the Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia are all featured. Check it out:
