NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell reported live from Washington this morning, something viewers have become accustomed to seeing for the past 25 years.
O’Donnell’s employer didn’t let that 25-year milestone go unrecognized. Hallie Jackson, who anchors MSNBC’s 11 a.m. timeslot, recognized O’Donnell’s feat during her live report in the hour, and then teed up a 4+ minute long video, which featured congratulatory messages from her colleagues, and prominent politicians.
O’Donnell became emotional while the video was playing, and understandably so.
