NBC News Prez Capus: “We Have Big Plans For Dateline In The Fall & Beyond”

In response to yesterday’s posts about Dateline’s spot in the fall schedule, NBC News president Steve Capus writes in:

“The Dateline ‘one night’ schedule is going to be for a few short weeks. We will be back to two nights — and likely THREE nights (as we have been recently) as soon as football ends — if not sooner. Please don’t be so quick to write-off Dateline. It’s viable… It is currently on the schedule three nights a week — more than any other news magazine — and we have big plans for Dateline in the Fall and beyond.”
