NBC News, MSNBC Launch Initiative to Cover Veterans, Military Families

NBC News and MSNBC today launched a new campaign and programming series that seeks to shed light on issues related to veterns and military families. Called “Making a Difference on the Homefront,” the series kicked off with a job fair on the USS Intrepid, with “NBC Nightly News” slated to air the first piece tonight.

There will be another job fair in July in Los Angeles, with programming for the series slated to continue for the next year.
