Sixty years of NBC News archives will soon be available for use by school systems nationwide, Mediaweek reports. In a deal with HotChalk, a Web-learning community, teachers “will have unlimited access to NBC educational content specifically created for classroom instruction. It is expected that this content will be able to be used in such courses as American History, U.S. Government and Language Arts, among others.” Heading up the operation for NBC News is Nicola Soares, Vice President of Education Initiatives.
