NBC News Adds Camille Vasquez as Legal Analyst

By A.J. Katz

NBC News has added Brown Rudnick litigation and arbitration attorney Camille Vasquez as a legal analyst for the network.

Vasquez’s current practice at the California-based law firm focuses on plaintiff-side defamation suits, with additional experience litigating contract disputes, business-related torts, and employment-related claims.

Viewers may recognize Vasquez from her role as one of Johnny Depp’s attorneys in his high-profile defamation trial against ex wife Amber Heard, which Depp eventually won. Vasquez helped secure a $15 million payday for her client in his trial last summer. In December, Depp and Heard settled their case.

Vasquez made her first appearance in the NBC News contributor role this morning on Today, where she provided insight on the University of Idaho student murders.
