Appearing on The View this morning, CNN HN’s Nancy Grace, who returned to her show last week from maternity leave, talked about the November day she finally had both her newborn twins home (they were born premature, and son John David had been released from the hospital prior to his sister Lucy). The day she got to take Lucy home, Grace said, tearing up, “the trees were waving, they were gold and red and yellow and green, like a parade, it was the happiest day of my life.”
Grace was also asked by The View crew about the legal cases du jour, such as O.J. Simpson‘s bail battle. “O.J.’s out of jail, in case y’all were worried about him,” Grace told the in-studio audience, eliciting laughter. “So I advise: when you leave here, go straight home, lock the door and hide under the bed.”
