Following up on an item from last week on NABET trying to organize MSNBC employees now at 30 Rock. From an insider:
“It is true that NABET is out in force at 30 Rock. But the editorial production staff isn’t the key target. The key target are the camera operators, stage managers, and tech ops folks who are NOT part of NABET and are at 30 Rock. They are the target of organization. This is going to be a very interesting experiment. I’m told that unions and corporations around the country are keeping a close watch on how the NBC News, 30 Rock situation plays out.”
