Robin Roberts and (Former Super Bowl Champ) Michael Strahan Throw Super Bowl Party for GMA Colleagues

NFL great and Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan knows a thing or two about celebrating a Super Bowl. He was on the New York Giants team that defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in 2008. But on this Super Bowl Sunday, Strahan celebrated with his new colleagues from Good Morning America.

Strahan and GMA co-anchor Robin Roberts threw a Super Bowl party for staffers and their friends and family.

Guests watched the big game on an oversized projector while chowing down on homemade gumbo brought by Roberts, a native Mississippian.

Attendees included Nightline and GMA weekend anchor Dan Harris, GMA weekend anchors Paula Faris and Ron Claiborne, ABC Correspondents Gio Benitez, Dan Abrams, Linsey Davis and Tory Johnson.

On GMA this morning, Strahan chatted with a couple of exhausted Eagles players Malcolm Jenkins and Zach Ertz. Jenkins and Ertz were integral to last night’s Super Bowl victory, the Eagles first. The franchise’s last NFL title was in 1960.
