Murdoch Teases FBN Future Plans

By SteveK

News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch spoke yesterday about the future of the Fox Business Network at the Bear Stearns Media Conference in Palm Beach, Florida. Mike Farrell writes in Multichannel News about Murdoch’s comments.

Murdoch points to an expanded distribution as the key to FBN success. “What we have to do is get distribution,” Murdoch said. “We’re working very hard at getting more distribution. We’re already in maybe 35 million homes. We’ve got to get to 60 million homes, and then Roger (Ailes) can really blast CNBC.”
