MSNBC’s Yasmin Vossoughian Gives Birth to Baby Boy

By A.J. Katz

MSNBC anchor Yasmin Vossoughian gave birth to a healthy baby boy last Thursday.

Noor Ahad is child No. 2 for Vossoughian and her husband Whit Clifford. He is named his mom’s father.

Big brother Azur Vossoughian Clifford – 22 months Noor’s senior – seems pretty stoked, as per below.

Vossoughian – who anchors MSNBC’s Sunday, 4 p.m. hour, as well as Morning Joe First Look on weekdays – appears to have a news junkie on her hands. At least that’s according to her colleague Cal Perry.

Only days before Vossoughian gave birth to child No. 2, she wrote a piece for Mika Brzezinski’s Know Your Value platform on “How to tell your boss you’re expecting a baby.” Our hunch is that Phil Griffin is satisfied with the story, and is giving her the time she needs.
