MSNBC’s Wolff Wants To Be #1

MSNBC primetime chief Bill Wolff has a bold goal:

“We’re in third place (behind Fox News Channel and CNN), and our goal is first place,” he tells Post-Dispatch columnist Gail Pennington. We’ve got a lot to do to get there, to make people think of us first.”

Wolff’s career path has been interesting, to say the least. He was promoted to VP after four months at MSNBC.

“Although he dubs the promotion a lucky break, serendipitous seems more fitting. In fact, that’s the best way to describe his career path.” More…
