MSNBC’s ‘PoliticsNation’ Brings Back The TV Reenactment, Applies It To Politics

Ah, the television reenactment, long a staple of cable TV genres like history, and of shows like “America’s Most Wanted,” but hardly commonplace on TV news. Yesterday, however, Al Sharpton on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” decided to give it a go, hiring actors to portray attendees at a Mitt Romney fundraising event in the Hamptons.

It was all part of one very long segment, with the headline “The Great Mittsby.”
