MSNBC’s Phil Griffin Atop List of Social Impact Leaders

The PVBLIC Foundation named Phil Griffin at the top of the first annual Top Ten List of Media for Social Impact Leaders. The group cites Griffin and MSNBC’s commitment to the Global Citizen Festival which aims to eradicate extreme global poverty by 2030 as an example the power of media to drive social change.

Griffin ranks No. 1 and joined in the Top 5 by Mashable CEO Pete Cashmore, 1-800-PublicRelations founder Matthews Bird, Trollback + Company founder Jakob Trollback and Mekanism CEO Jason Harris. CNN Latino anchor and producer Ismael Cala cracks the list at No. 8. As for Griffin, the foundation says:
