MSNBC’s Dietl & Daniels: Dead?

By Brian

MSNBC’s experimental crime show “Dietl & Daniels” may be dead. The show, hosted by Lisa Daniels and Bo Dietl, has aired a couple times in the 4pm Friday timeslot. The show may not appear again in its current form, but elements of it may appear on other programs.

MSNBC hope Dietl will continue to appear on the network as a contributor. This morning on Imus, Dietl suggested that Rick Kaplan had offered him a primetime show.

But that would be a controversial offer. On Friday’s show, Dietl made several inappropriate comments during an interview with Jeff Gannon, foremost of them that “if you wanna suck a Johnny-Pump [that’s your business].” “Audible gasps throughout the building when Bo Dietl made his comments,” an MSNBC insider said. “If they don’t pull that offensive, pathetic excuse for a show, there’ll be a revolt here.”

But then this morning, Dietl appeared on Imus right and said that Rick Kaplan “offered him a prime time slot on MSNBC minus Lisa Daniels,” a tipster says. “The offer was apparently made after Friday’s Dietl & Daniels.”
