MSNBC to Sponsor Operation Hope’s Annual Event

HopeTVNewser has learned that MSNBC will shortly announce that the network will be the media sponsor the Operation HOPE 2015 Global Forum Annual Meeting. The meeting, held in Atlanta from Jan. 15-17, will feature several MSNBC newsers broadcasting live from the event.

Many of the weekend’s events will be streamed live on shift, including the keynote address from the 42nd President Bill Clinton. MSNBC’s “Ronan Farrow Daily” will broadcast live from the forum on Friday, Jan 16 and MSNBC reporter Trymaine Lee will also be reporting live from the forum.

“Operation HOPE’s focus on increasing economic opportunity for traditionally underserved communities is aligned with the values of MSNBC’s passionate audience,” said Phil Griffin, President, MSNBC. “We aim to be a powerful mobilizer for our community, and we feel strongly about empowering them to help build a more inclusive and strong economy, both here at home and around the world.”

The HOPE Global Forum brings together elected officials, business, civic and financial leaders to outline a vision for the future of the modern global economy. Operation HOPE focuses on providing all Americans, especially the poor and struggling middle class, with financial literary tools to encourage economic growth, entrepreneurship and job creation.
