MSNBC Substitutes Anchors

By kevin

Three different MSNBC programs have had substitute anchors filling in over the past 24 hours.

This morning, Chris Matthews, sporting a cap for his NLCS-bound Phillies, filled in for Dylan Ratigan who is off today on “Morning Meeting.” Keith Olbermann was out last night with Lawrence O’Donnell subbed in and David Shuster sat in for Rachel Maddow. We’re told Maddow was out sick. Olbermann recently made reference to his frequent absences and explained that he makes regular visits to his ailing father.

Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist joked at the end of “Morning Joe” that Ratigan is actually in rehab.
