Looks like the morning slot previously occupied on MSNBC by Don Imus may indeed go to Joe Scarborough, according to Associated Press television writer David Bauder. Scarborough’s “Morning Joe” program has been given an extensive try-out, pairing him with Mika Brzezinski.
Bauder also reports that “Scarborough’s hiring may require management changes at MSNBC. MSNBC GM Dan Abrams… has been filling in for Scarborough at night. If Abrams permanently takes over that slot, it will be difficult for him to keep his management job.”
