A rare trifecta happened on late-night TV Tuesday, as three MSNBC personalities were guests on various late-night shows.
Rachel Maddow, Ari Melber, and Steve Kornacki did the late night circuit with Maddow appearing on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Melber on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Kornacki on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with guest host Leslie Jones.
Maddow joined Colbert to discuss her expanding universe at MSNBC, her New York Times bestselling book Prequel based on her MSNBC podcast Ultra, politics and news of the day. Just as she was about to sit on Colbert’s couch, news of the House passing the government funding bill broke, so she was able to provide a real-time, live-to-tape analysis of the unfolding situation.

Meanwhile, Melber joined Meyers on his show to discuss former President Donald Trump’s legal cases, his coverage and legal analysis of Trump over the past few months, and how his legal background lends well to the news cycle of late.
Finally, Kornacki met Jones after a year-long infatuation with one another, where he discussed everything pertaining to the 2024 presidential election.
