Currently the ep of Zerlina (the streaming news show hosted by Zerlina Maxwell), Johnson will also oversee special news coverage, midterm elections coverage, and special content for the streaming platform. This includes MSNBC on Peacock specials from Nicolle Wallace, Richard Engel, Michael Beschloss, and more that are coming down the pike.

Johnson has been with MSNBC since 2015, and has led Maxwell’s show on Peacock since its launch in October 2020.

MSNBC on Peacock senior ep Laura Conaway announced the news, adding, “As we welcome more hosts, shows and production teams into the world of streaming news on Peacock, Raelyn will be crucial in helping us grow and evolve. If you’re thinking of a one-off or a series for streaming, Raelyn Johnson, executive managing producer, is your first stop.”
