MSNBC Going To Tape On Saturday P.M.

MSNBC is pulling the plug on its Saturday afternoon newscasts.

“The network had originally added the 12-4pm shift with Contessa Brewer back at the end of 2005. The network dropped its Sunday 12-4 newscast due to ratings last December,” ICN says.

MSNBC Live will now run from 8am to noon. “As we do on Sunday, we will break into the afternoon programming for breaking news,” a network rep says…
