The following week, the network will air the third part of its “Future Earth” series, titled “Future Earth 2025” (12/20 10pmET). This one focuses on the future of our water supply as its affected by global warming and population booms.

The final part of “Future Earth” is scheduled for broadcast in April.

The second part, “100 Heartbeats,” aired in November and was hosted by Jeff Corwin of Animal Planet fame. TVNewser spoke with Corwin about the production and why he preferred working on docs with MSNBC as opposed to CNN.
