MSNBC.com to Re-Launch Next Week

By Chris Ariens

MSNBC.com Executive Editor Richard Wolffe is blasting out an email this morning about the site’s relaunch next week.

The wait is almost over. We launch next week, and as promised, you’ll get an early look at the website that will transform the digital progressive community. Keep an eye out for an email next week so you can be one of the first to try it out.

The email encourages readers to share the news on Facebook.

The new site features clips and full episodes as well as live TV from MSNBC. There are also community connections allowing for group discussions and MSNBC polls. “You can even create your own group on an issue or story that fires you up,” writes Wolffe.

MSNBC.com currently redirects to NBCNews.com. In July 2012, the final tie between Microsoft and MSNBC was cut, allowing NBC News full control of NBCNews.com, while MSNBC.com began a rebirth as the online home of the progressive TV channel.
