Last week, MSNBC beat CNN in the 25-54 demographic at both 7 and 8pm.
At 7pm, Hardball with Chris Matthews ranked #2 with 165,000 viewers in the demo, ahead of CNN by 15,000 for the week. The show was up 7 percent week-to-week — “more than either CNN (-36%) or FNC (-4%).”
At 8pm, Countdown with Keith Olbermann ranked #3 with 150,000 viewers in the demo, ahead of CNN by 6,000 for the week. Nancy Grace was #2, but Paula Zahn was #4. Is this demo performance becoming a trend?
