MSG Network Scores Best Monthly Average Rating For New York Knicks Since 2004-05 Season

Winning does wonders.

Especially when it comes to the ratings on the MSG Network for the New York Knicks.

The 20-14 Knicks averaged a 2.02 household Nielsen rating for the month of December, the highest monthly average since the 2004-05 season. Prior to 2004, the previous high was in January 2007 (1.59 HH rating).

After last night’s 2.75 HH rating for the San Antonio Spurs-New York Knicks game, the year-to-date average is at 1.50, up 39 percent over 2009-10.

New Yorkers have been waiting patiently for a competitive team that they can get behind and support. The ratings are proof that they are all in on the 2010-11 Knicks.
