Morning Show Ratings: Week of November 4

“Good Morning America” had its best numbers in nearly 9 months last week, since the week of Feb. 18, when Robin Roberts returned from medical leave. The “Today” show had its best week in a year.

But only “GMA” is up in both total viewers (+9%) and younger viewers (+3%) year-over-year. “Today” is flat and down -2%, respectively, while “CBS This Morning” is up +6% in viewers and down -10% in the demo.

“GMA” led “Today” by its largest demo advantage in 10 weeks. Season-to-date “Today” is showing improvement in the demo, trailing “GMA” by an average of -63,000 viewers. Last year the gap was -160,000 viewers.

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.979M / NBC: 5.158M / CBS: 3.140M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.170M / NBC: 2.046M / CBS: 1.026M
