Morning Show Ratings: Week of Nov. 4

For the second consecutive week, ABC and NBC split the morning show ratings race. GMA was most-watched overall, while Today was No. 1 among adults 25-54.

In addition to finishing No. 1 in total viewers for the week, GMA cut its Adults 25-54 gap year-to-year with Today by 49% (91,000 vs. 178,000), and won Friday across the board.

Today’s demo win marks 200 out of the past 202 weeks at No. 1 in the measurement. Today also won in total viewers Monday, and posted five-month highs in total viewers, delivering its largest audience since the week of May 20.

CBS This Morning remained in third place across all relevant measurements.

Compared to the same week last year, each of the programs was down. GMA was -4% in total viewers, and -5% in the key A25-54 demo. Despite winning in the A25-54 demo, Today was -11% in the measurement, and -8% in total viewers. CBS This Morning was -6% in total viewers, and -11% among adults 25-54.
