Morning Show Ratings: Week of Nov. 16

morning-show-anchors_640For the week of Nov. 16, in the ad-friendly A25-54 demo, NBC’s Today show topped ABC’s Good Morning America by its largest margin since the 2012 London Olympics. And while GMA continues to win among total viewers, Today hasn’t been this close (153,000 viewers or 3 percent) since the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Of the three network morning shows, only CBS This Morning saw viewer growth: up +3 percent vs. the same week last year. GMA was down -14 percent and Today was down -5 percent. In the demo, all three shows were down: GMA was down -22 percent, Today was down -1 percent and CTM was down -4 percent vs. last year.

The week saw Good Morning America celebrate its 40th anniversary, and the Today show celebrate a Charlie Sheen booking.

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.170M / NBC: 5.017M / CBS: 3.554M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.762M / NBC: 2.002M / CBS: 1.039M
