By Chris Ariens

It was a down week in the ratings for the three network morning shows. ABC’s Good Morning America won the week in viewers with a +3 percent lead on No. 2 NBC’s Today show. Meanwhile, Today took the younger demo with a +20 percent lead on GMA.

All three shows lost viewers compared to the same week last year. ABC was down -10 percent in viewers and down -14 percent in the demo; NBC was down -5 percent in viewers and down -7 percent in the demo; and CBS was down -5 percent in viewers and down -13 percent in the demo.

None of the morning shows was rated on Thursday due to live coverage of former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony.
