Good Morning America continues as the most-watched morning show, and grew its audience 3 percent vs. the same week last year. The ABC broadcast also had its biggest A25-54 demo lead over NBC’s Today show in five weeks. But in the last month, Today has narrowed the demo gap with GMA by 39 percent versus the same period a year ago.
CBS This Morning was up 6 percent in viewers compared to the same week last year, and is the only network morning news broadcast up in viewers (+9 percent) and the demo (+13 percent) year-to-date.
Due to the July 4th holiday, all three programs were coded as specials on Friday. The weekly averages are based on 4 days (Mon-Thurs).
